Mahallat, a city in Markazi province, is famous for its large flower gardens. The city has been identified as Iran’s capital of flowers. Some even call it ‘Holland of Iran’ likening Mahallat to the Netherlands in terms of diversity of flowers and the areas under flora cultivation.
